All students pursuing the minor must successfully complete:

HIST 2200/3200 - Masters of War: Classical Strategic Thought (3 hours)

Students pursuing the minor must complete an additional 9 hours of HIST 2500/3500 Military History topics.

The specific focus of each course will be determined but possible topics include:

• American Revolutionary War
• Peloponnesian War
• American Civil War
• Punic Wars
• WWI/WWII
• The Crusades
• Korean War
• Ottoman War
• Seven years/French & Indian War
• Hideyoshi Invasion
• Vietnam War
• Russo-Japanese War
• Cold War

NB: Interim courses do not apply toward the minor in Military History
